Would Charlie have made those ninth inning moves?

Magruder and Einar were really killing a lot of rallies today.

Look at the Box Score, most of the hitters in the line-up had multiple hits, and walks, while Magruder and Diaz were just awful.

Lee Stevens has turned out to be a pleasant surprise, but he is a bit slow on the basepaths the little I've seen of him, probably slower than Thome.

Dare I say that if we didn't have Ellis Burks that Ricky G might make an OK DH??? [img]eek.gif[/img] [img]confused.gif[/img] [img]graemlins/cry.gif[/img] [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I don't think Ricky should be our second basemen, and at third for next year isn't Bill Selby superior with the glove? Selby seems to do well as a pinch-hitter. But Can Selby hit .270-280 on a regular basis?

If Ricky G. keeps hitting like this, he won't be here next year, and Thome will have that money, as it should be.
